Various dog breeds such as pug dog, chow chow, dachshund, wiener, are painted in my "Abstract Chinese" style.  All paintings are available as giclee prints. 

These prints are very beautiful. All giclee prints are watercolor based. This is a very high quality giclee print on matt photo paper. The original was created using traditional Chinese brush art techniques, bamboo brushes, ground ink and watercolors.  Red "Chop" is my Chinese signature.

Dog art inspired from my daily route to work where I run in to dog walkers, dog owners with all types of dogs, though I find pug dogs, Dachsund, and a few others most interesting to watch.  Also of interest is how each individual dog owner relates with his or  her dog.  Some are display thier pets like prize possessions to be shown off while others treat thier dog like a member of the family to be love, protected and respected.  Dog parks like the one in the village is best place to watch dogs and dog owners alike.  "The Village" isn't really a village just the name that neighborhood is known by.  Yes it's hip, cool and chic and fashionable. The Dog park is located in union square new york city, ny.  Right across from the Barnes & Nobles Bookstore adjacent to Starbucks across the street.
